The Future of Star Wars. Captain America Casting.

The Future of Star Wars
DISNEY have bought the rights for Star Wars by buying Lucas Film!!!! Thats right, Princess Leia is a Disney princess... because thats the important part of this story... Anyway Disney are planning to release Star Wars VII in 2015 with the plan to bring a new film out every few years. With all the nerd rage directed towards George Lucas you can't blame him for wanting to get the franchise off his hands and after the largely disappointing Episode I, II and III (although in my opinion I is the best... not a massive Star Wars fan tbh) and the poor Clone Wars franchise this £2.5 billion deal marks a new era for Star Wars.

A lot of fans are worried and that is understandable, Disney can make mistakes and the Star Wars series has been going down hill for a long time but who knows, maybe fresh contributors are what it needs. One of the Disney executives in charge has talked a lot about the deal as has Lucas:
Personally I think its a good thing, a real moving forward in the series rather than a milking of the already existing property feels more satisfying and as far as Disney are concerned don't forget how amazing their latest big blokcbuster was... The Avengers isn't their original property but with the right director and writer it was one of the biggest hits ever so have a little faith fans, this could be good!

Captain America Casting
Firstly Maria Hill (Cabie Smulders) is returning to the Marvel world after her appearance in the Avengers in the upcoming Captain America The Winter Soldier. How big is her role going to be? Who knows but the viallian for the film has also been cast, Frank Grillo has been cast as Crossbones meaning this is going to be one jam packed film with both Crossbones and Winter Soldier storylines mixed together. Keep your eyes open, plot details probably aren't far away!
