Last Bit of SDCC news... for now. Hobbit, Item 47, Walking Dead, After Earth Viral

Not much news for the end of SDCC but a few little stories at least.


The Hobbit 48 fps
Jacksons the Hobbit will be released in 48fps, double the norm but when it was showed a few months ago audiences had mixed feelings. He has recently defended his choice saying
"Why, as an industry where we have dwindling audiences especially among the kids, should we be content to sit back and say that we got it right in 1927? … No! The kids aren’t going to [care] about the frame rates. If something feels immersive to them, if it feels more exciting, spectacular, sharper, clearer, that’s what they’re going to like"

I agree, Im looking forward to seeing the difference

Item 47

A clip of Item 47 has been released. Item 47 is marvels most recent short and it kinda speaks for itself, who knows exactly what happens next but its a pretty cool one shot either way.

The Walking Dead s3 trailer

I prefer the graphic novels to the Walking dead series 100 times over so for me this is a little disappointing. Whilst the prison makes me happy its a shame it looks like its going to include that racist guy nobody cares about from s1 which is annoying. Not only that but Rick should be going to woodbury!!! and it looks like he wont. Se despite the trailer looking ok its still very disappointing its not following the GR's more closely. Michonne does look cool though.

The viral is simple, historical, cool and interesting! It uses the FB timeline better than FB itself and makes me look forward to after earth even more!
