The Wolverine, TDKR, The Hobbit, 50 shades, Dexter, Deus Ex.

So there is a lot of news today and with Comicon season in swing its not surprising, so lets start with some things comic movie related!

The Wolverine Casting

So casting has been announced for the Japanese characters that will feature in James Mangold's upcoming Wolverine Origins sequel, The Wolverine. If you had any doubts about the storyline for the film it was always going to be a story based on his time in Japan.... If you dont know wolverine well he kinda goes there alot. Hugh Jackman always wanted to do the Wolverine story written by Claremont and drawn by Miller and with the casting now announced it sounds like its going to be pretty close, as all of the main characters have been cast. Hiroyuki Sanada will play mob boss Lord Shingen, Tao Okamoto will play Mariko, Shingen's daughter, Rila Fukushima will play Yukio, a Japanese assassin, and Hal Yamanouchi will play the classic Japanese samurai the Silver Samurai. So theres the main cast and it involves some great characters who are vital to Claremont's story, so I am looking forward to a hopefully more accurate comicbook film.

The Dark Knight Rises (TDKR) soundtrack, A tale of two cities and cape flying

Firstly Hans Zimmner's soundtrack has been released, you can hear it here http://collider.com/dark-knight-rises-soundtrack/178669/. So whats my opinion on the soundtrack? There are some nice motifs and some good tracks that I am sure suit the movie really well. But thats what Zimmer does he writes a LOT of really good soundtracks that ebb and swell in the perfect places, I look forward to seeing the film with the soundtrack. The Prometheus OST still beats it though.
Another story attached to TDKR is A Tale Of Two Cities, by Charles Dickens, the Nolan brothers have revealed the class debates and the book have "influenced" the Dark Knights finale so that will be interesting.
Finally in TDKR news scientists have claimed that with his cape the dark knight would be able to glide at the same kind of distances in the film. Unfortunatly he would reach over 50mph and that landing would kill him.... that would be funny, survived two face and the joker but didn't slow down on his glide aaaaaand dead :P

The Hobbit New Images

I am looking forward to The Hobbit, no doubt. This host of new images shows a few peaks at new locations and characters, they all look pretty nice although I still think a few look too CG and too smooth but Im looking forward to seeing the effects in motion.

50 Shades Of Grey
I haven't read it and don't really want to but its big at the moment and there is a new bit of news about it... The producers of the social network have picked it up for a new film. I don't think I will be watching it... oh dear...

Dexter Season 7

Two video's have been released for Dexter s7 but they don't show much.

Thats one of them and the other just shows her in the bed and a tiny little alteration in the speech. Its an ok little teaser but it really doesnt say anything, whatever happens though there wont be a finale just yet as Dexter is already set to return for another season after this one.

Deus Ex Human Revolution
Today it was announced that Deus Ex the video game would be made into a live action movie, I haven't played the game but it does look like some good scifi. With this announcement and the Assassins Creed announcement just a few days ago will there be more movie films in the pipeline??
