The Switch (Josh Gordon, Will Speck 2010)

" Look at us, running around. Always rushed, always late. I guess that's why they call it the human race."

The Switch is a simple RomCom about hijacking your friends artificial insemination and forgetting you did and reaping the consequences seven years later. I dont mind a good romcom and gave this one a chance due to Jason Bateman who I think acts well in all his films especially the series Arrested Development. However The Switch was light on the romance and light on the comedy, however it did make up for it with a heart warming story of a man building a relationship with his son. I did enjoy it but only as something to watch as a fell asleep, as with most romcoms it was fairly typical, predictable and was sickeningly heart warming. (in a good way) Anyway another good, not too taxing, little flick for a quiet night in.
4/10
